Blanket Blessings

​The moment I received the phone call that after successfully overcoming the worldwide pandemic, I was no longer employed and now I was walking through moments of uncertainty.

As I was holding on to faith for my situation to change, my anxiousness became overwhelming anxiety, and I needed a purpose. 

​

One day while cleaning out my closet, I found an abundance of un-utilized blankets and comforters, all color and sizes. I didn't wonder why I had so many but rather why did I keep them...just for a time like this.

​

As I packed up my car heading to the local Goodwill, I passed by a few "displaced" citizens. At that very moment I heard a voice say, "COVER Them." Thus started "BLANKET BLESSINGS". 

​

With help from family, friends and "Kingdom Building" strangers, I started collecting and distributing Blankets, Comforters, Tents, Sleeping bags/mats, Winter apparel and Personal hygiene items throughout the Lowcountry.

​

In the past year we've partner with other organizations and together we made a difference in our community.

​
